ARCVAL is a comprehensive, integrated system for valuation, financial reporting, financial forecasting, experience analysis and earnings analysis of universal life, traditional life, annuity, health and structured settlement business. The speed of the calculations and the ease of use of the integrated user interface is a direct result of the technology chosen for each facet of our software operations.

The calculations are performed by proprietary C++ programs. Simply put, our calculations are the FASTEST in the business. An efficient and powerful language, C++ has allowed the actuaries programming the ARCVAL modules to easily maintain and adapt ARCVAL to changing technological and regulatory environments.

Plan information is stored inside a Microsoft Access XP® database. This intuitive interface has proven easy to learn and operate since it shares a common look and feel of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Storage of plan parameters in a database format allows you to create "building blocks" of data for rapid plan creation.

ARCBase is another module of the ARCVAL system and is based upon Microsoft SQL Server. A policy level database, ARCBase is capable of accumulating seriatim information over time; for example, the valuation output records from your ARCVAL valuation modules. ARCBase will also accept Fund and Accounting, Activity and Claims information from the company's own systems. The ability to accumulate this policy level data allows ARCBase to act as a "hub" from which other ARCVAL modules can access and store data.
